Luzenac presents its new Jetfine® product range for automotive applications at K2004

Luzenac will be presenting its new Jetfine® ultrafine talc range at the K2004 trade fair in October.

Jetfine® talcs provide plastics compounders with a new additive to meet new specifications in the automotive industry.

With their very high aspect ratio and ultrafine grind, Jetfine® talcs are recommended for semi-crystalline polymers such as polyolefins or polyamides and all engineering plastics. Their compacted / densified form facilitates processability resulting in an increase in compounding throughput and highly filled compounds.

Jetfine® talcs meet new, very high impact resistance requirements for high-flow resins in exterior automotive parts. This enhanced impact resistance is achieved through very low particle-size distribution (50% of particles lower than 1000 nm) and optimised top cut. Jetfine® talcs will maintain stiffness at lower CLTE through excellent orientation of the talc lamellae during injection moulding.

Jetfine® talcs are recommended for automotive exterior parts (bumpers, rocker panels, fenders, etc.) and high impact resistant interior trims.
