Patrice Gérault nominated General Manager of Luzenac Europe

10 March 2003 - Patrice Gérault has been appointed General Manager of Luzenac Europe, the European division of the world's leading talc producer, Luzenac Group. He will report to Chief Operating Officer, Claude Stenneler. Since he joined Luzenac in 1992, Gérault has held a number of senior management positions in R&D, Business Development and, most recently, as Vice President of the Coatings Business Unit. He has provided strong leadership and has successfully carried through a number of improvements including a more structured approach to product-application development. He will be responsible for the four European Business Units (Paper, Coatings, Polymers and Specialities) and for Luzenac's industrial operations in France, Austria, Italy, Spain and the UK, as well as certain European support functions. Patrice Gérault will be based in Toulouse where Luzenac has its European headquarters. Roger Jakeman will succeed Patrice Gérault as VP BU Coatings.
